Layout, Cards, and Goals

Final layout work has begun, including formatting, font choosing, and so on. The most dramatic change would be the addition of actual card icons to provide examples of play.

I have some immediate goals for the next stage, with the intent of having LATSW ready to participate in the Ind of the Year Bundle for 2021:

• One last push to try to get playtesting done, especially for the 2 player mode of the game.
• Add more concrete safety tools.
• Add more written examples of play, particularly more for the 2 player mode of the game.
• Add some advice/optional rulings towards the end.
• Continue format work, with an eye towards leaving some space for internal art.

I'm also going to push for getting some art done for the game, something for the cover and as mentioned maybe one or two pieces for the inside pages. It is unlikely that this aspect of the project will be done in time for Ind of the Year, so IotY will probably be getting a mechanically finished but still art free version.

Once the game is mechanically finished, I am also going to set a non-PYWY price.
